Demolition has started upstairs. Most of the plaster has been removed. Next the lathe will come down and then the old insulation will be taken out. As much as I love the old windows, I’ve decided to replace them for efficiency. The upstairs is all bedrooms so it’s important to keep them warm and cool when needed. The tongue and groove ceilings will need major refinishing as well because of all the water damage from years of the roof leaking. Upstairs will essentially be brand new, except for the floors. The floors will be refinished.
